The pioneering DJ and host of the legendary “Rap Attack” radio show, Mr. Magic passed away this morning after suffering a heart attack.
Referenced by artists such as Notorious B.I.G. and Whodini, Mr. Magic was defintely a legendary figure in the eyes of many. I always think back to “Juicy” and Biggie’s line “Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl, I let my tape rock ’til my tape popped.”
